People living in the area are however reporting darkness for over 24 hours, leaving them in total darkness.

“This people are always lying when it comes to power supply. They keep changing words, if what they say is true, why have we not had light in our area for more than 24 hours. it is their language, it is a way of telling us to prepare for darkness till thy kingdom come,” said a resident of Sabon Tasha, Mr. Istifanus.

Another resident of the area, who does not want her name mentioned said, “with the fuel scarcity how do these people want us to survive? This is wickedness in its highest form, and you say we have a functional government in this country? Thank God 2019 is just by the corner.”
