The Commissioner said, adequate preparations towards a successful Vaccination campaign are being carried out through various committees while different trainings at different stages are ongoing in the state to prepare health care workers who will participate in the campaign.

“I will like to take this opportunity to call on Political, Traditional and Religious leaders and indeed parents and guardians to give their maximum support by ensuring the campaign meet the target of vaccinating all eligible children”. He said

The coverage survey for Gombe state after the twenty fifteen measles vaccination campaign was around forty percent which is below the national average.
