A man has been arrested on suspicion of a terror offence at Stansted Airport.
The 41-year-old man was arrested after arriving at the airport on Friday for an offence under the Terrorism Act.
He was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts Contrary to Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
The man, who has not been named, has been taken to a south London police station for questioning and remains in custody.
The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command unit is conducting the investigation.
It comes five days after a similar arrest at the same airport.
On Monday a 49-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of preparing for a terrorist act.
The suspect is from south Essex, and had been travelling back from Istanbul, Turkey.
