Nigeria: Late Dasuki’s Lifestyle, Worthy Of Emulation – Information Minister

Kaduna (Nigeria) — Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has described the former Sultan of Sokoto, late Ibrahim Dasuki  as a great man, nationalist, and patriot by excellence whose lifestyle is worthy of emulation.

Mohammed who was in Kaduna to condole with the deceased family called on Nigerians to emulate the lifestyle of the late sultan.

He further described the late 18th Sultan of Sokoto as a pioneer reformist who deployed his wide knowledge of Islam and vast experience as a technocrat to make profound impact on his family, community and the nation at large

While praying to Almighty Allah to grant Sultan Dasuki jannatul-firdaus, the Minister said Nigerians will continue to cherish the deceased contributions to the development of the Sokoto Caliphate and the Country at large.

Late Ibrahim Dasuki died in Abuja, last Monday and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
