Kaduna To Host First ECOWAS Agricultural, Agro-Allied, Technology Exhibition

Kaduna (Nigeria) – The first ECOWAS Agricultural, Agro-allied and Technology exhibition is set to hold in Kaduna from Friday 7th October to Sunday 16th October, 2016 at the Kaduna International Trade and Investment centre.

Briefing newsmen on the level of preparedness of the exhibition, Chairman, Global Exhibition and Business Services limited, Bawa Garba, said all arrangements have been put in place and large turn-out of participants are expected both locally and internationally.

He noted that, so far, more than 60 companies from West African countries, China, Ukraine, Iran, South Korea, France, South Africa, Kenya, Agro-input Dealers, Rice Farmers Association among others have indicated interest to participate in the exhibition; adding that, a website has been designed to enable intending participants and the public to view, fill and submits their applications online.

The theme for the Exhibition is; ‘Agricultural Production and processing for Self Sufficiency, Poverty Eradication and Economic Development’.
