Kaduna (Nigeria) — Nigerian troops have successfully repelled an attack by Boko Haram terrorists who attempted an incursion into 113 Battalion at Kareto Northern Borno State.
According to Army Authority, the timely response of the troops which involved air cover made it easy for the troops to repel the attack.
A statement by Acting Director Public Relations Colonel Sani Kukasheka says more reinforcement have been deployed to the area, adding that the area is now calm, while mopping exercise is ongoing.
He also said no casualty was reported.
