Kaduna (Nigeria) — Nigerian Army says one of its senior officers, Colonel Samaila Inusa, has been kidnapped.
Col. Inusa works with Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji, near Kaduna, in northwestern part of the country.
A statement by an Army spokesman, Col. Usman Abdul, says the officer was kidnapped in Kamazo area, near NNPC junction, Kaduna.
According to the statement, the kidnappers dropped off Inusa’s wife and left with him in his car “headed towards Abuja.”
It requests that, ”Anybody with useful information or assistance should please assist in tracking these abductors.
“They are in a Mercedes Benz, GLK Black colour with registration number Abuja, KUJ 154 TZ. This happened at about 7:30pm on Saturday 26 March 2016.

The military statement did not state whether a ransom had been announced by the kidnappers or not.
Kaduna has in the past few days recorded increased cases of kidnaps, the last being that of President of HEKAN Church, Pastor Emmanuel Dziggau and two other church members, about a week ago.
