Nigeria Gets New Boss For Its Budget Office

Kaduna (Nigeria) – President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has appointed Aliyu Yahaya Gusau as the new Director-General Budget Office of the Federation with effect from 18th August, 2015 to serve a term of four years.

The announcement was made by the Director of Press and Public Relation, Federal Ministry of Finance, Marshall Gundu in a press statement.

Before his appointment, Aliyu Yahaya Gusau was the Director, Fiscal Policy, Budget Monitoring and Evaluation and also Acting Director- General, Budget Office of the Federation at the exit of the former Director- General, Dr Bright Okogu.

He hails from Zamfara State, northwest Nigeria and holds a Bachelor degree (BSC) in Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
