Kaduna (Nigeria) – Nigeria police has dispelled rumours that it has started recruitment in the force.
A statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu says the advert is being run by criminally minded persons.
“The attention of the police management has been drawn to some fake recruitment adverts being run by some criminally minded persons, who are out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no recruitment going on at the moment in the Nigeria police force.”
Cases of fake recruitment advertisements and exercises are common in nigeria.Arrests of suspects have also been effected in several instances by the nigeria police.
