Nigeria: Look For Money To Pay Workers Salaries – Buhari To Governors

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has asked state governors in the country to evolve ways of paying their workers salaries.
Many state governors owe workers salaries, some states running more than seven months – bringing untold hardship to thousands of Nigerian families.
Buhari who spoke while inaugurating the country’s National Economic Council in Abuja also called on the governors to devise ways of increasing their internally generated revenue base to address dwindling revenue from the federation account.
The National Economic Council is made up of the Nigeria’s 36 state governors, the Minister‎s of Finance, the Minister of National Planning and the Attorney General of the Federation.
