Foreign Football Administrators Begin Talent Hunt in Nigeria

Kaduna ( Nigeria) – A team of football administrators and coaches from Turkey are in Nigeria to scout for young footballers.

Among them are Sincanlioglu Sadetin, a football coach and administrative manager of Antalyaspor FC; Gozubuyuk Alaatin, football scout of Osmanlispor FC, which got promoted to the super liga last season.

Others are Yazici Recep a coach at Galatasarary; Kabay kamil, a coach at Antalyaspor; Korkmaz Ahmet, a Turkish ex-international; levent Dervisoglu and Gorkem Dervisoglu.

The talent hunt which is being conducted through a four day competition is organised by a kaduna based football academy ACE academy and also feature some teams playing in the pro-league.

Ten selected football academy drawn from across the nation are participating.

Speaking with journalists, Head of ACE ACADEMY, Kola Adebulugbe said the competition was to scout for talent and promote grass root soccer in the country.

He added that the competition was to foster unity, build human capacity and identify talents in the country.

“It is my believe that from here, we would raise individuals who would in turn, become soccer heroes and the pride of our people,” he said.

“Our Academy has been grooming young talents which are playing in different clubs outside of the country today and also in the flying eagles team.

Adebulugbe also said that some selected players will be sent to turkey to continue their carrier.

“At the end of the competition, lucky players will be selected in other to groom them and continue playing at turkey.
