Nigerian Manufacturers Call For Review of Electricity Tariff

Kaduna (Nigeria) – Manufacturers Association of Nigeria has called for a downward review of electricity tariff paid by industrialists.

Branch Chairman of Kaduna Zone, Northwest Nigeria, Ahmed Gobi made the appeal at Customers Consultative Forum organised by Kaduna Electric Distribution Company in the State.

Gobir expressed concern over what he described as “the stifling electricity tariff being paid by members of the Association”

He appealed to the management of Electricity Company “to inter-face with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria with a view to forging sustainable partnership”.

Chief Marketing and Customers Services Officer of the Electricity Company, Murtala Bello assured electricity users in the area of their resolve to improve service delivery.

According to him, some of the legacy challenges inherited by the new investor were being addressed.
