The ultimate determinants of a man’s life and achievements are anchored on the lives he has influenced and positively changed, the indelible imprints of development he has etched on the social, economic and cultural landscape of his community and the enduring and sustainable legacies he has bequeathed to generations yet unborn.
The man under reference is no other than the Kanwan Katsina and District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara.
Alhaji Usman Bello, the epitome of royalty and embodiment of tradition, clocked 22 years on Friday, 4th Nov. 2022, on the throne of his grandfather and father.
Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, a retired Comptroller of Customs, is a man of impeccable character and a benevolent disciplinarian who brought his uncommon natural simplicity, humility, uprightness straightforwardness, and truthfulness to bear in the service of his fatherland as well as on the revered throne.
Acknowledging the goodness of God in witnessing 22 years on the throne, the Monarch says, “To God be glory: I thank Almighty Allah for my successful 22 years on the throne of my late grandfather and father.
“I also thank all my village heads, ward heads, council members and indeed, the communities of Ketare District of Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State for their support and cooperation in these 22 years”.
Within these years, God has not only helped the monarch to boost his creativity and problem solving skills but also endowed him with the requisite knowledge and wisdom to concentrate and remain focused on the specific tasks of leading the communities under his jurisdiction to record enviable growth and development.
