As part of moves to attain an accelerated growth for creative girl Menteees, a One- Day capacity building training on Advocacy for school e-learning policy in Kaduna State, was held Monday for those between the ages of 14 and 20, drawn from 3 Local Government Areas of Kajuru, Chikun and Igabi.
He informed the Mentees that the e-learning was mooted out as a result of the insecurity in the North East region of Nigeria where students were forced out of school for some years and later adopted in Oslo, Norway.
Similar insecurity affected Kaduna which has resulted in at least, five hundred thousand school dropout with the inherent danger of being impregnated, early marriage among others to sadly end their educational pursuit.
Mr. Maigari who identified the negativity, therefore stressed the need for the Mentees to feel strongly the effects on their colleagues and advocate for the Policy to enable them pursue their studies without necessarily being in school.
He also enjoined them to serve as role models in the advocacy in their respective areas for their colleagues who are affected.
The Rise Up project manager, Miss Grace Yila Maikano urged the Mentees to see themselves as One with a strong voice devoid of ethno-cultural sentiments and cry unto the State Government to make the policy a reality.
