Nigeria: Sultan of Sokoto Declares Thursday As 1st Day of Ramadan, Calls For Prayers

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alh Sa’adu Abubakar III has declared tomorrow (Thursday) 23/3/2023 as the First day of Ramadan, 1444AH

The Sultan made the declaration at his palace in Sokoto, Northwest Nigeria, following information received from Moon Sighting Committees from various states in the country.

He charged Muslims to commence fasting of Ramadan Tomorrow (Thursday)

His eminence also calls on wealthy individuals to support the needy.
