A Kaduna based NGO in Northwest Nigeria, Caleb Danladi Foundation has condoled the family, NuJ and friends of the Late Chief Dominic Uzu who passed away on Tuesday in an auto accident.
In a condolence message, the Foundation said, ” it felt with great sadness , the passing away of Veteran Journalist Mr. Dominic Uzu the former NUJ General Secretary.

Caleb Danladi Foundation have known him closely for his passion, support and contribution in covering and publishing most of the Foundation’s events. They Foundation are still trying to come to terms with this sad, tragic news.
“The Director of CDF Caleb Danladi Bako in his remark stated “We have known Veteran Journalist Mr. Dominic Uzu for few years and we are devastated to learn of his death. He was a strong and jovial man, always very focused and determined. He was a great person, full of life, he was instrumental in Caleb Danladi Foundation, and he always do his work with diligence”.
“Late Dominic Uzu was passionate about his work, he loved life, and he was a great team player in our foundation.
“Our heartfelt condolence goes out to his family, NUJ Kaduna State and friends in this very difficult time. We have lost a great champion, a wonderful person, and a dear friend. May his soul Rest in peace. We will miss him greatly”.concludes the message.
