Drug Law Agency Parades Suspects In Southeast Nigeria

imageNational Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has paraded 7 persons alleged to have been arrested with suspected psycho-tropical substances including Cocaine, Heroin and Indian hemp last month.

State Commander of the Agency, Bamidele Akingbade said the suspects were caught at different spots in the state with the substances weighing a total of about 14.23 kilograms.

Akingbade said the suspects would be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Umuahia after investigations.

One of the suspects, Uzochukwu Nnanna told journalists that the policemen arrested him with Indian hemp before handing him over to the NDLEA.

Another, Solution Kingsley, 22, caught with cocaine (“White”) said he lost his father at the end of his secondary education and had to seek for help to further his education – in the process, he met a man, Nwa-Charlie who introduced him to Cocaine business, to help him raise money to further his education.
