France: One Killed in Grenoble Factory Terror Attack

One person is reported killed and several injured Friday morning, in a terror attack on a factory in French town of Grenoble.

Local media reports say decapitated body of a man was found on the factory premises, adding that a 30-year-old suspect, believed to have links with Islamic State (ISIS) terror group has been arrested – the man is known to the foreign intelligence services.

The head of the victim, who was said to be an employee of the factory was discovered by police hanging on the wire fence of the factory, beside 2 flags with Arabic writings – believed to be ISIS flag.

A media report say, the suspect terrorist was believed to have entered the factory and planted explosive devices.

Another version however say, two men in a car forced their way into the factory, and drove straight into gas cylinders which exploded.

The attack occurred around 10:00 am local time (0800 GMT).

French government has already tightened security at sensitive sites throughout the country, and the Interior Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve said he would immediately visit the site of the attack.

In mid January, 12 people were killed in France on the Charlie Hebdo magazine. Days after, four Jews were again murdered in Hyper Cacher supermarket in Paris in another terror attack.
