Fadallah, Billionaire Owner Of Tahir Guest Palace Hotel Kano Is Dead

The renowned Lebanese Kano Hotelier, Mr. Tahir Fadallah, is dead. He died in the early hours of Friday in Lebanon.

Spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed Fadallah’s death via his Facebook Wall on Friday morning.

“We have lost Tahir. May Allah grant him Aljannah,” Shehu said on Facebook.

He posted a picture of himself with Mr. Fadallah, shortly after the hotelier was discharged from hospital following months of treatment in Beirut, the Lebanese capital.

Fadallah was flown there in May 2020 for treatment, after he tested positive for COVID-19 in Nigeria.

Fadallah is expected to be buried in Kano.

According to reports, Late Tahir Fadallah has left a will instructing that he should be buried in Kano, no matter where he dies.

Aged 74, Fadallah was raised in Kano, a city he lived throughout his life.

Late Tahir Fadallah who speaks Hausa language fluently is a friend to many Kano top-notch, including Nigerian military officers, as well as people from the Business and political class.

His magnificent hotel, Tahir Guest Palace was built as a result of active support he received from Kano state government.

He was the leader of the Lebanese community in Kano, until his death.

He left behind 5 children and great grand children.
