Ten years ago, Bridge That Gap Initiative (BTG) began with a simple but powerful belief — that communities thrive when people are heard, empowered, and connected to opportunities that create lasting change. What started as a vision has grown into a movement of hope, resilience, and action across communities in Nigeria.
Over the years, we have stood with women rebuilding their lives after conflict, supported young people with skills and livelihood opportunities, empowered vulnerable households with economic support, and restored hope to individuals and communities who once felt forgotten. Through advocacy, peacebuilding, climate action, and inclusive development, we have continued to amplify voices, strengthen local structures, and create pathways for sustainable change.
By promoting tree planting and supporting women with clean cooking solutions, we are fostering healthier communities while creating a safer and more sustainable environment for all. From community halls to policy tables, from grassroots engagement to media advocacy, every step has been driven by the belief that real transformation happens when people work together.
BTG at 10 is more than a celebration of years — it is a celebration of lives impacted, partnerships built, communities strengthened, and hope restored. As we mark this milestone, we remain committed to bridging gaps, empowering communities, and driving impact for many more years to come.
To every partner, volunteer, supporter, community member, and friend who has been part of this journey — thank you for walking this path with us.
The journey continues. ✨
