The Family Health Advocates in Nigeria Initiative (FHANI) has commended Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State for the milestone completion of the State Primary Health Care Board (SPHCB) building.
A statement by the Secretary of the NGO, Benjamin Maigari says the landmark achievement represents a significant step forward in strengthening the governance, coordination, and efficiency of primary health care delivery in Kaduna State.
” A functional and well-structured administrative hub such as this will greatly enhance institutional capacity, improve policy implementation, and support data-driven decision-making across the health sector.
“FHANI recognizes that strong health systems are built on solid institutional frameworks. The completion of the SPHCB building will not only provide a conducive working environment for health personnel but will also contribute to improved service delivery, better accountability, and enhanced responsiveness to the health needs of citizens—particularly women, children, and vulnerable populations.
“/We are confident that this development will translate into measurable improvements in health outcomes, including increased access to quality family planning services, maternal and child health care, and other essential primary health services across the state.
“On behalf of our members and the entire citizens of Kaduna State, FHANI expresses deep appreciation to His Excellency for his commitment to strengthening the health sector. “This achievement reflects a clear dedication to improving the well-being of the people and advancing sustainable development in the state.
“We encourage the government to continue prioritizing investments in primary health care, including adequate staffing, financing, and maintenance of health infrastructure, to ensure that the full benefits of this milestone are realized.
“FHANI remains committed to partnering with the Kaduna State Government and other stakeholders to promote policies and interventions that improve health outcomes for all”, the statement concludes.
