The Senator representing Gombe South Senatorial District, Anthony Siyako Yaro has presented a motion of urgent Public importance, on the tragic incident that occurred during the Easter celebration procession at Tashan Gona Area, Billiri Local Government Area of Gombe State.
This was just as the Senate resumed Tuesday after the Sallah and Easter break.

On Easter Monday April 21, 2025, a trailer loaded with bags of grains rammed into an Easter celebration procession, resulting in loss of lives and causing immense sufferings.
Senator Anthony Siyako Yaro, who had just arrived in Billiri to join the procession, immediately after receiving the sad news, proceeded to the hospital to visit the affected victims, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
