…Says Publication Is Vendetta- Driven Aimed At Tarnishing Reputation Of Chief Brodrick Bozimo
The Management of BB Hotel and Suite, located at No 32/34 Deco Road, Warri Delta State, has distanced Chief Broderick Bozimo from its day-to-day operations.
A Director of the Hotel, Mr Ayodele Adenola, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday.
The statement reacting to a recent publication by an online platform on the alleged trafficking of a 14 year-old girl disclosed that the hotel had been leased to Nanet Hotels Ltd for over four and a half years, and the owner, Chief B. Bozimo, has handed off to the new management.
The statement stated that Nanet Hotels Ltd is seeking legal redress for human rights violations and defamation, noting that the owner has not engaged in any negotiation or oppression regarding these false allegations.
“We categorically state that there was no incident of trafficking or kidnapping of a 14-year-old girl at BB Hotel. The PEBNews article appears to be a vendetta-driven publication aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Chief Brodrick Bozimo and the hotel.
“We urge the public and social media users to disregard this false publication.

Recall that PEBNews.com on Sunday, 4th May 2025 reported that Policemen from “B” Division in Warri, Delta State had arrested BB Hotel Manager, Chizoba Okafor, and a Pool attendant, Chika Emmanuel over an alleged adoption and trafficking of a fourteen(14) year old girl (name withheld) in the hotel for one month. The girl, who is a JSS student, was also threatened and forced into child labor during the period.
The online platform even though confirmed in its publication that when contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a WhatsApp message sent to their Correspondent in Warri “but he stressed that he doesn’t know about the identity of the owner pls.”
The Nanet Hotels Ltd fumed that while the police who are reportedly handling the investigation are silent on the ownership, it is mischievous for anybody to drag respected Chief Broderick Bozimo to the mud via the false report.
