Nigeria: We ‘ll Synergize With Relevant Agencies In Kaduna To Enhance Road Safety- FRSC

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna State Command, Kabir Yusuf Nadabo, has said that the state Command of the FRSC is now enjoying a good working relationship with the state government on compliance to road traffic regulations by the users.

He disclosed that the synergy for regulation compliance by the road users is already ongoing between the state command of the FRSC and the state traffic agency.

Nadabo, while addressing the media in Kaduna as part of the ‘Ember Months Awareness Campaign’, said FRSC will continue to cement strong collaboration with the Kaduna state government and other relevant agencies to totally eliminate the menace of reckless driving and other related offences.

He also thanked Kaduna state government for its sustained support for road safety through the provision of logistics for the Corps’ activities and road rehabilitation to ensure safer motoring environment within Kaduna and its environs.

While applauding the state government, the Sector Commader explained that, the inauguration of the Kaduna State Road Safety Advisory Council (KASARC) is a welcome development, stating that, it is aimed at bolstering the collective efforts towards effective road safety management and traffic administration in the State.

Nadabo further mentioned that FRSC and the Kaduna traffic agency have developed an effective synergy on areas of mutual collaboration to train and retrain staff on Patrol and Rescue activities to enhance general safety on Kaduna roads.

In his Ember Months Campaign message, the Sector Commander urged all categories of road users to continue to obey traffic rules and regulations to complement the FRSC’s efforts, saying that road safety is everybody’s business.
