Nigeria: Jigawa Approves Scholarship For 31 Nursing Science Students

Jigawa state government has offered Scholarship to 31 indigineous students to study Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Science at Istiqama University Sumaila in Kano state, Northwest Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary of the States Scholarship board, Alhaji Sa`idu Magaji announced this, while presenting the approval letters to the benefiting students during a brief ceremony at the Board’s Headquarters in Dutse.

He said the state government has paid fifty seven million, five hundred and eleven thousand naira, N57,511,000.000.00 tuition and accommodation fees for the period of three years to the students.

Alhaji Sai`du Magaji advised the successful students to focus on their studies and be good Ambassador of the state.

Some of the students commended the government for the gesture and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Parents and Guardians of the students also thanked the State government for sponsoring their children to acquire varsity education.
