After that baboon stripped us of our big girls and heroine spirits and mushed them to the mud.
I thought our experiences with them was the worst until I saw what they did to a white man who went there for some adventures.
Just when we were going towards the string along museum side; a white man glory in his well packaged T-shirt and jeans trousers in company of his friends kept his bag on a car and was catching some fun with his people.
Before we could say Jack! Lo and behold, a hefty baboon appeared and yanked his bag straight to a tree. Worst of it! The terror of a baboon climbed the tree with it.
To seal it up! This notorious baboon climbed to the peak of the tree, he settled and searched everything therein and when he saw that there was no mirror or food inside the bag, he flinged the bag first then the laptop followed separately.
The laptop scattered and Mr baboon stared at everyone’s reactions from the tree. He later came down and ran into the bush; leaving the foreign man with a broken laptop. Expensive laptop for that matter. It was a terrifying situation because there was no one you can literally hold responsible for the damages and the man had got to deal with the loss.
Similarly, a friend of mine told me of how they went to party at Yankari Game Reserve, and just at the middle of the party outside their lodges they heard a loud sound of glasses broke from where they parked their cars, they rushed to see what the issue was and lo and behold they saw their cars glasses brutally broken by the baboons in a bit to break through the car and snatched some drinks they saw inside. Before they could do anything the baboon flee and left them to their fates. It wasn’t funny at all as she stated.
Seriously, I heard of so many stories of how those guys (baboons) go about breaking people’s cars and embedding people once they sight anything eatable inside the cars or see you with it especially bananas.
Dear people, pls learn from our brutal experiences and make sure you hold your things tight once you find yourselves in those kind of places because those guys are not smiling at all.
