NUJ Kaduna Felicitates With Christians @Christmas…Calls For Peaceful Coexistence

As Christians in Nigeria join their counterparts across the globe in commemorating this year’s Christmas, the Kaduna State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has urged them to use the occasion for sober reflection and offer prayers to God to bring to an end various challenges bedevilling the State and the Nation at large.

In a Christmas Message jointly signed by the Council Chairman, Hajiya Asma’u Yawo Halilu and the Secretary, Gambo Santos Sanga
prayed for peaceful Christmas celebration and prosperous new year

According to the Statement, the significance of Christmas cannot be over emphasized, hence the need for peaceful coexistence with other faithful for societal growth and development.

The Council also implored journalists working in the state to exhibit high moral standard in their conduct and objective in their reportage .

It commends the Kaduna state Government for being proactive, particularly in its quest to rid the state of armed banditry and kidnapping, noting that the renewed approach by the Government is yielding positive results.

The Council further prayed for a prosperous 2022 for all Nigerians.
