Member Representing Albasu, Ajingi and Gaya Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has felicitated with the people of his constituency and other Nigerians for witnessing yet another Democracy Day celebration.
In a Press Release issued by his Media Aide in Kano, Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya noted that this year’s celebration marks 21 years since the country returned to civil rule, the longest civilian Administration in the country.
Within 6 years of representation of the constituency in the House of Representatives, the Lawmaker said, the constituents have witnessed how he had been upholding fairness and equitable distribution of dividends of democracy across the Albasu, Ajingi and Gaya local government areas.
Hon Mahmud Gaya assured the constituents that the remaining two years to the 2023 General Election, will witness more goodies to enhance their well being through the provision of more economic empowerments and developmental projects for all.
“Let me use this opportunity to reiterate my commitment to you that the best of me will continue to come to you all. my current achievements in office are just a tip of the iceberg as I’ll continue to do my best.
“As we mark another Democracy Day in the history of our dear country, let us reflect the achievements recorded within last six years despite the country facing insecurity and economic challenges but with collective responsibilities the nation will overcoming all its challenges” he said.
Hon. Mahmud Gaya also congratulates Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, House leaders, Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and pray for more Allah’s blessing, ease Kano and the country at large, of insecurity which has been bedevilling the nation.
He enjoined the people to be more vigilant and conscious of the security of their environment and report any suspicious movement to security agencies.
Representative Gaya also urged Nigerians to pray fervently for an end to the senseless killings and kidnapping prevailing in some States of the Federation.
