COVID-19: NANTMP Mourns Kyari, Says Nigeria Will Miss A Patriot

Date:

National Vice President of the National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP) North-east zone Dr. Mustaph Ibrahim Al-min  has joined other Nigerians in mourning the death of Alhaji Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Newsmen by Zonal Secretary, Dr. Auwal Ahmad Umar in Gombe on Saturday, saying that the president and the nation had lost a friend, patriot and partner.

“It’s with a great sense of personal loss and grief that I mourn the unexpected passage of Malam Abba Kyari, the patriotic, hardworking, loyalist and Chief of Staff to our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We the people of North-east and the nation we lost a friend, a patriot and partner in the journey towards building a nation of our dream.

Dr. Al-Amin further described Kyari’s death as a great loss to the North-east and the country,

He said that death of Kiyari’s is painful having paid the ultimate price in the service of the fatherland, as he is said to have contracted the dreaded Covid-19 virus while representing the country on an official assignment.

He added that Kyari’s death had created a vacuum that would be hard to fill, in view of his high-level service to the nation, which he discharged creditably.

“We have lost loyalty in his death; we have lost active and good service; we have lost dedication to duty. We pray God to grant the president the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.

“We pray for his family, we pray for the wife and the children that God will comfort them.
