At Richifa Primary Health Care Centre, the Routine Immunization provider, Ibrahim Garba, expressed delight that couples have fully embraced child spacing, having been sensitised on its importance to the lives of the mother, child, father, family and the entire society.

He thanked NURHI for the supply of all the necessary materials needed comprising of commodities and consumables, to ensure the success of the services in the area.

At Yakasai Primary Health Centre, the deputy in charge of child spacing,  Fatima Adamu, noted that with the support from NURHI, the Centre always engages community and religious leaders with a view to further enlighten their people on the importance of birth spacing, adding that tremendous success has been recorded since last year.

She noted that there had been great reduction in the number of women dying through child birth attributing it to the awareness created through various programmes organized to them.

Mrs. Fatima explained that presently, more women come for services compared to the challenge they went through prior to the intervention of NURHI.
